Proper Management of Siskiyou Crest Grazing Allotments Absent Far Too Long

Forest Service managers on both sides of the Siskiyou Crest refuse to engage in collaborative reform. Nevertheless, we remain ready to engage collaboratively with FS managers and grazing permit holders at any time in order to finally reverse grazing-caused degradation along the Siskiyou Crest and its headwater basins.

NEWEST REQUEST

We ask Forest Service managers to complete annual monitoring of riparian areas in key grazing locations

Currently Forest Service managers are only monitoring 14% of riparian areas in key Klamath National Forest grazing areas. This request asks them to perform the required monitoring of livestock browsing on woody plants within riparian areas in key grazing locations.
